Popular Chick-fil-A Sauce Recalled Fast-food chain Chick-fil-A announced it is recalling one of its most popular dipping sauce cups and advising customers to toss them in the trash due to the possible presence of undeclared allergens.  According to a notification posted on the eatery's website, anyone who took home Polynesian Sauce cups between Wednesday, Feb. 14 and Tuesday, Feb. 27 should discard them because they may, in fact, contain a different product that contains wheat and soy. Nassau County Police officers responded to a report of a larceny of used cooking oil in progress on Friday, April 7.  Prior to arrival, officers observed a 2006 Isuzu white Box Truck matching the description.   Officers activated their emergency lights and conducted a vehicle and traffic law stop.  Two suspects were then placed under arrest: Melvin Howell, age 55, of Brooklyn; Rodney Lofton, age 49, of Queens. The break-in occurred just after midnight on Friday, Jan. 20, at the Chick-fil-A in Port Jefferson Station, located on Nesconset Highway, according to Suffolk County Police. Detectives said a man broke a glass door before entering the restaurant and stealing several iPads from an office. Man, Woman From Nassau County Apprehended After Stealing SUV From Long Island Chick-fil-A Two Long Island residents were arrested for allegedly stealing an SUV at a restaurant last month after an employee left his keys on a table.  An employee at Chic-fil-A, located at 1991 Broadhollow Road, in East Farmingdale, left the keys to a 2014 Chevrolet Traverse on a table in the dining area on Friday, May 28 at approximately 6:55 p.m., said the Suffolk County Police.
