Long Island Man Admits To Brutal Sexual Assault
A Long Island man faces 16 years in prison after pleading guilty to a brutal sexual assault that seriously injured a woman. Edward Bell, age 40, of Bellport, pleaded guilty on Friday, Jan. 21, to felony first-degree aggravated sexual abuse in connection with the sexual assault of a woman found in North Bellport in June 2019, according to Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond Tierney.
