Man Struck, Killed After Being Hit Two Vehicles At Busy Long Island Intersection A man was killed after being struck by two vehicles on Long Island. It happened just before 4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 24 in Oakdale. George Collins was attempting to cross eastbound Sunrise Highway Service Road, approximately a half-mile mile west of Oakdale Bohemia Road, when he was struck by two vehicles, Suffolk County Police said. Irene Pastor, was operating a 2018 Hyundai in the left lane when she struck Collins, according to police.
