Suspect At Large After Man Shot Outside Long Island Apartment

Police are asking the public for help in connection with a shooting of a man walking through a parking lot of a Long Island apartment complex.

The incident took place around 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 15, in Huntington Station, Suffolk County Police said.

According to detectives, a 27-year-old man was shot while walking through the parking lot of Lincoln Farms Apartments, located at 123 1st Ave.

The victim, of Central Islip, was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on the shooting to call the Second Squad at 631-854-8252 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
