One person was found dead inside a vehicle that was discovered in the water of a Long Island beach.

The incident took place around 1:-2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 13 at West Neck Beach in Lloyd Harbor, said the Suffolk County Police.

Police are releasing few details surrounding the person's death, only to say that once the vehicle was retrieved from the water one person was found dead inside.

Homicide detectives are investigating the incident.
