Long Island King Kullen Store Searching For Answers After 75 Shopping Carts Go Missing

 Police are investigating a curious mystery involving dozens of missing shopping carts from a King Kullen on Long Island.

Suffolk County Police and Town of Southampton investigators are attempting to locate a suspect or suspects that stole upwards of 75 shopping carts from King Kullen on East Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays.

According to police, the carts were stolen over the course of approximately a week in early December.

It is unclear why the shopping carts were stolen, and no information about possible suspects has been released by investigators.

Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the missing carts and identifying a suspect. Anyone with information regarding the stolen carts has been asked to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-220-TIPS.
