There are dozens of fireworks shows to attend on Long Island.

But these five have proven to be spectacular, year after year.

Here's your guide to fireworks displays on Long Island.

TD Bank Celebrate America Fireworks and Show at Eisenhower Park, 1899 Hempstead Turnpike, East Meadow: The event on Saturday, June 29 (rain date is Sunday, June 30) runs 4:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theater, with fireworks starting at 9:30 p.m. Doors will open 5:30 p.m. for general admission.

TD Bank customers and veterans may enter at 4:30 p.m. There will be musical performances, the National Anthem, and fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Free.

Riverhead Raceway, 1797 Old Country Road, Riverhead: With the cost of a ticket to NASCAR racing that day you can stay for free holiday fireworks at 10 p.m. Saturday, June 29. Grandstands open at 4 p.m. Racing starts at 6:30 p.m,., followed by fireworks.

Sterling National Bank July 4th Fireworks at Jones Beach State Park, 1 Ocean Parkway, Wantagh: On Thursday, July 4 fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m. at Central Mall though spectators are urged to arrive hours before.

George Gorman, deputy regional director of New York State Parks for the Long Island Region, advised revelers to arrive early in order to avoid long lines entering the beach. 

Traffic should spike around 6 p.m. State police will divert traffic away from Jones Beach if parking lots fill to capacity. The cost to enter the park is $10 per vehicle, charged only until 4 p.m.  

July 4th Celebration at Long Island Community Hospital Amphitheater at Bald Hill, 1 Ski Run Lane, Farmingville: Oldies 98 and the Town of Brookhaven run this show which features Billy Joel Tribute Band Captain Jack performing. Admission is free. Doors open at 5 p.m. for the concert at 5:30 p.m. Fireworks are 9:15 p.m.

Stars Over Montauk 2019July 4th Fireworks at Umbrella Beach, Old Montauk Highway, Montauk: On Thursday, July 4, from 9 to 9:30 p.m. Attendance is free. 

The fireworks display at the beach is one-third mile west of town and best viewed from any town beach or location in town according to the event's sponsor Montauk Chamber of Commerce.
