Damaging winds with gusts up to around 50 miles per hour are causing power outages on Long Island.

As of late Monday afternoon, March 11, a total of 751 PSEG Long Island customers lost electricity.

A majority of those without power are in Nassau County (430), with 308 custmers affected in Suffolk County.
