Rededication To Be Held For Restored Eagle Sign In Westchester Months after vandals felled an iconic eagle sign at a Northern Westchester intersection, a rededication ceremony will soon be held to celebrate its restoration.  A rededication event for the North Castle Eagle at the intersection of Route 22 and Route 128 will be held on Sunday, June 2 at 2 p.m.  The event comes months after the sign was discovered to have fallen on Monday morning, Dec. 11. Two years ago, a fire broke out at the 102-year-old carousel, leaving the structure and horses with heavy damage, putting the future of the famous ride into question. The carousel suffered water damage, as well as damage to the roof and other components; however, officials have been hopeful of reopening the ride by 2020.
