Pickup Truck Driver Flees The Scene Of Crash In Westchester, Police Say A pickup truck driver took off in Northern Westchester after he was involved in a two-car crash in Bedford. Officers from the North Castle Police Department received a call at approximately 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 4 regarding a crash in the area of East Middle Patent Road in Bedford. The caller reported that she heard a single car speeding down the roadway, strike a tree and leave the scene. Shortly thereafter, the Bedford Police Department issued an alert reporting a two-car crash on Route 172 in Bedford.
