According to Janeen Violante, founder and the firm's lead designer, her team recently helped create brands for three companies: Peanut Principle, Honeypie’s Recipes, and Rick Sammon Photography.
HVGD, which connected with Peanut Principle at a local farmers’ market, said it tweaked the gourmet spread maker's peanut-shaped logo and made it easier to read. Its products are now found on grocery shelves nationwide.
“We consider our client the Ben and Jerry’s of the peanut butter world and we knew we had to really make their logo stand out,” Violante said.
Also among HVGD’s culinary clients is Trish Lobenfeld, a food blogger from New Canaan, Conn., who has just published her first book.
The agency said it created a pie-shaped logo for Lobenfeld, a graduate of The Institute of Culinary Education, and also helped her improve her brand’s social media presence.
Rick Sammon, a Croton resident who's website says he is known as the “Godfather of Photography,” also enlisted HVGD to help him improve his brand. The award-winning photographer, who hosts workshops that inspire participants to reveal their visual creativity, now has a human-eye logo that telegraphs that element of his business.
