Road Work Will Close Portion Of Route 202 This Week

HAVERSTRAW, N.Y. -- The Rockland County Department of Transportation has issued an advisory to motorists for road work planned in the area of Route 202 and Gurnee Avenue in Haverstraw this coming week.

Route 202 is expected to be closed starting Monday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. from Route 9W and Bridge Street.

The closure is expected to last through Friday.

One lane will be open, with alternating traffic directed by flaggers, from approximately 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. each weekday.
