Suffolk County Police said the incident took place around 430 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 2, at Vanderbilts Wharf at 445s Vanderbilt Blvd., in Oakdale.
According to police, the two employees left the business when they were approached by two men brandishing what appeared to be handguns and demanding jewelry and cash.
The victims complied, and the two men then attempted to access the safe before fleeing the scene.
