Police in Watervliet were called to Hudson Shores Park on Wednesday, May 31, after someone found the cat inside a crate without food or water. Video shared by the department on Wednesday, June 14, shows the cat inside the crate, which had been left behind a concrete pillar, “obviously to avoid detection,” police said. Animal Cruelty: Abandoned Dog Found Tied To Tree In Albany During Heatwave Police are asking for the public’s help after a dog was found abandoned and tied to a tree in the region. The heartbreaking scene was discovered Thursday, April 13, at the Pine Bush Preserve, near Old State Road and the City of Albany border, according to Albany Police.
