Erratic Driving Stop Leads To DWI Charge For Northern Westchester Man
A man from Northern Westchester is facing DWI charges after he was pulled over for driving erratically, police say.
Yorktown Police responded to a report of an erratic driver on Crompond Road (Route 202) on Friday, Nov. 22 around 9:30 p.m.
The vehicle was located, and further investigation revealed that the driver, identified as Ravinder Nagpaul, 67, of Mohegan Lake, was driving while intoxicated, police say.
Nagpaul subsequently refused to submit to a breath test and was placed under arrest, police say. He was transported to headquarters, processed and charged with the following:

New York State Police initiated a traffic stop on I-287 in the city of Rye for a violation on Saturday, Nov. 16 around 4:35 a.m.
The driver, identified as Fernando Reynoso, of Stamford, was found to be intoxicated, police say.
Reynoso was arrested, transported and processed at SP New Rochelle, where police say his BAC was tested at .19.

A 35-year-old woman has been charged after police say she drove drunk in Westchester with a BAC three times the legal limit.
New York State Police say they stopped a driver for a violation on I-287 in the town of Rye on Wednesday, Sept. 25 around 2:10 a.m.
Further investigation revealed that the driver, identified as Jessica LaFrance, 35, of Derry, New Hampshire, was found to be intoxicated, according to police.

An early morning traffic stop on I-87 in Westchester led to the arrest of a 46-year-old driver who was busted with a blood alcohol content more than double the legal limit, police said.
A New York State Police trooper on patrol shortly before 2 a.m. on Sunday, June 9 stopped Brooklyn resident Sergey Priporin, 46, in Tarrytown, for several vehicle and traffic violations.
