John 'Jake' Francis Hunt, 58, Of Yonkers
YONKERS, N.Y. – John “Jake” Francis Hunt, of Yonkers, died on Tuesday, June 9. He was 58.
Hunt was born on Nov. 8, 1956, in Yonkers to John Francis and MaryMartha (McDermott) Hunt.
He was a machinist at the former Polychrome in Yonkers, a roofer at New York Roofing Company, and a peace officer at Empire City in Yonkers.
Hunt is survived by four siblings, Lori, Jim and wife Fran Hanlon-Hunt, Michael and his wife Karen Wright-Hunt, and Liz.
There will be a private memorial service.
Michael Fitzell, 48, Of Yorktown Heights
YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – Michael Fitzell, of Yorktown Heights, died on Sunday, June 7. He was 48.
Fitzell was born to Ann and Vincent Fitzell. He attended Yorktown High School and St. Bonaventure University and earning two master's degrees at McNeese University.
He most recently worked at Phelps Hospital Center and was an adjunct professor at Fordham University.
Fitzell is survived by his parents; two brothers, Brian and his wife, Joann, and Sean and his wife, Monica; and his friend Carmen Mera.

Frank Chema, 93, Of Yonkers
YONKERS, N.Y. – Frank Chema, of Yonkers, died on Saturday, May 30. He was 93.
Chema was born in Yonkers to Michael and Mary (Fetcisko) Chema.
He was one of eight brothers: Michael, Joseph, Peter, Steven, John, Thomas and Edward and two sisters: Ann Peters and Florence Petrizzo.
Chema served in the Army during World War II, fighting in the Battle of Normandy.
He was predeceased by his wife Mildred (Vicik) Chema; his brothers, Michael, Joseph, Peter, Steven, John, Thomas and Edward; and sister Ann.He is survived by a sister Florence and her husband James.
Forrest Lindsay, 83, Of Bridgeport
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Forrest Lindsay, of Bridgeport, died on May 26. He was 83.
Lindsay was born in Newberry, S.C., to George Sr. and Adeline Lindsay.
He is survived by his son, Alex; brother Matthew and his wife, Edna; sister, Adeline Hare of Newberry; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two sister-in-laws, Ella S. Langston and Lizzie B. Lindsay, and brother-in-law Odell Hill of Ninety Six, S.C.
He was predeceased by his wife, Sadie, three sisters and eight brothers.
No calling hours are planned.
Donata M. Desalle, 84, Of Stamford
STAMFORD, Conn. – Donata M. Desalle, a Stamford resident, died on Monday, June 8. She was 84.
Desalle was born on Nov. 12, 1930, in Stamford to Joseph and Gertrude (Lacerenza) Gerardi, working at American Cyanamid.
She is survived by a brother Peter and his wife, Pat; and a sister-in-law Betty.
She was predeceased by longtime companion Peter Gasparino, brothers Jerry and Lucia, and sisters Carmella Conetta and Catherine Palladino,

Maria Mancini, 80, Of White Plains
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Maria Mancini, of White Plains, died June 8. She was 80.
Mancini was born in Roccasecca, Italy, on Feb. 24, 1935.
She is survived by her husband Alberto Mancini, three children, Linda Chuquillanqui and her husband Victor, Elena Loscher and her husband William, Gilbert and his wife Jean, grandchildren Lorianne, Ricardo, Alexandra, Dexter, Charles, Nico and Julia, and great-grandchildren Sean and Solis.
Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Ave., White Plains.

Irene A. McCormack, 89, Of Croton-On-Hudson And Formerly Of Somers
SOMERS, N.Y. – Irene A. McCormack, of Croton-on-Hudson and formerly of Somers, died June 7. She was 89.
McCormack was born in Manhattan to Alexander and Katherine (nee Opoka) Martin.
She was predeceased by her parents and husband John, and is survived by her son Kevin, daughter Caren Belcastro and her husband Paul, and grandchildren Michael, Kari, and Keith McCormack, and Alissa Belcastro.
A memorial Mass will take place at 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Church, Somers.
