Edmond E. Benini, 96, Of Croton-On-Hudson CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Edmond E. Benini, of Croton-on-Hudson, died on Saturday, July 4. He was 96. Benini was born in Connecticut to Primo and Giovanna (Valicelli) Benini, Edmond served in the U.S. Army from 1943-46 in the Philippines. He married Janice Hotaling in 1958.  He taught industrial arts at Ossining High School for many years and coached both ice hockey and golf. His love of traveling led him to spend five years teaching in Japan, journeying to all seven continents, 72 different countries and every state in the US. Argument Leads To Stabbing At Galleria In White Plains WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.. – A man was stabbed outside the Galleria Mall in White Plains on Friday evening after an argument became heated, LoHud.com reported. According to White Plains police spokesman Detective Lt. Eric Fischer, the 28-year old New Jersey resident got into an argument with another man inside the mall, LoHud.com reported.
