Village officials are reminding residents that dog and cat licenses expire on Jan. 1. All dogs and cats are required to be licensed. Glen Rock's 'Bravest Squirrel' May Be A Bit Nuts GLEN ROCK, N.J. – You'd have to be nuts to get this close to a hawk this size – or possibly just looking for nuts. "Meet the bravest squirrel in Glen Rock," Len Greer, who took the photo, wrote on Facebook. Greer took the photo of the squirrel getting dangerously close to the predatory bird at Thielke Arboretum in Glen Rock.  According to Greer, this squirrel got away unharmed. But that may only be because this red tailed hawk had devoured a squirrel minutes before.

The district shared information about Colbeth's death on its Facebook page.  Colbeth joined the Ridgewood Public Schools in 1955 and taught science at Ben Franklin Middle School until her retirement 42 years later in 1997.
