No End In Sight For Strict Ridgewood Water Restrictions RIDGEWOOD, N.J. – Ridgewood's Stage 4 watering restrictions have helped decrease water usage, but a dry forecast means the strict limitations won't be lifted anytime soon, the village told residents late Monday night. Construction Detours Drivers On Northvale's Tappan Road NORTHVALE, N.J. – The Northvale Police Department is warning motorists to use caution as construction begins on Tappan Road Thursday. Tappan Road between Paris Avenue and Rockland Avenue in Norwood will be closed starting Thursday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.  The closures will continue on Friday, Sept. 18 and Monday, Sept. 21.
