A 63-year-old Bergen County man has been arrested on child pornography charges, authorities announced. James T. Reilly, of Edgewater, used the Internet to view, download, possess, distribute, and share items depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent children, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. A man was fatally crushed by a vehicle in Clifton, authorities confirmed. Police say the incident happened early Wednesday, April 23 at 810 Bloomfield Ave. The man was found crushed under the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 6:40 a.m., police confirmed. A Nutley man under the influence of crack cocaine allegedly assaulted a motel worker, stole their keys, and charged at police officers responding to a 9-1-1 call in Lyndhurst, authorities said. A 21-year-old woman was killed and a 24-year-old man was wounded in a shooting at a Paterson park on Tuesday, April 22, authorities said. A 14-year-old boy was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash involving a motorcycle in Waterbury, authorities said.
