Motorists throughout the area have several incidents on major roadways to contend with during their Thursday morning commute.
The left lane of a stretch of the northbound Saw Mill River Parkway is closed in Southern Westchester following an accident. Both lanes had been closed immediately after the 7:15 a.m. accident.
The lane closure is between Tuckahoe Road and Executive Boulevard (Exit 9) in Yonkers with traffic backed up to Lockwood Avenue (Exit 6).
An another accident on southbound I-684, at Route 116 (Exit 7), resulted in backups to Hardscrabble Road (Exit 8).
Farther south, an accident initially took out the left lane of Route 9A at North State Road in Briarcliff, with delays to Route 133 (Upper Croton Avenue).
