Pair Hospitalized After Vehicle Flips On Rt. 78 In Hunterdon County Two people were taken to a local hospital after a vehicle flipped onto its roof on Route 78 in Hunterdon County Sunday morning, Sept. 17, responders said. The Whitehouse Rescue Squad responded to the crash on the westbound side in Readington and found the vehicle upside-down with one occupant still trapped inside. Fire crews from Whitehouse and Oldwick assisted in extricating the remaining occupant and stabilizing the vehicle before EMS professionals from Hunterdon Health transported two patients to nearby hospitals for additional evaluation and treatment.

Njsp Helicopter Search Underway After Bank Robbery In Hunterdon County, Police Say State Police initiated a helicopter search after a bank in Hunterdon County was robbed Wednesday afternoon. The robbery occurred at TD Bank on Route 22 west in Whitehouse around 3:50 p.m., Readington Township Police said. State Police were conducting an overhead helicopter search of the area following the robbery, NJSP Sgt. Philip Curry told Daily Voice. The bank remained temporarily closed following the robbery, police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Readington Township Detective Bureau.

Photos: 3-Alarm Fire Destroys Hunterdon County Home Fire crews jumped to action to knock down a three-alarm blaze at a Hunterdon County home. The fire broke out early Sunday morning at a home in East Whitehouse, according to a Facebook post from the Oldwick Fire Company. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered smoke coming from the back of the home and stretched multiple lines to the basement, authorities said. Two dozen fire units worked on the blaze for more than seven hours before clearing the scene, authorities said. Fire crews in Whitehouse, East Whiehouse and Readington also assisted, authorities said.
