Sussex County Water Park Slide Fire Deemed Suspicious, Report Says A fire that broke out at a slide at Mountain Creek Water park in Sussex County has been deemed suspicious, local officials said. The blaze broke out at the park’s High Anxiety raft attraction the evening of June 15, before the park had opened for its summer season, according to the Vernon Township Fire Department.
