The crash occurred on Perryville Road in Union Township just after 4:35 p.m., Tpr. Brandi Slota told Daily Voice. No injuries were reported to the driver or train conductor, Slota said. The Pattenburg and Quakertown Volunteer Fire Companies responded to the crash scene, where members walked a mile down the tracks to make contact with the train crew and ensure that the crash did not cause any ongoing train issues. The fire fully engulfed a home on Perryville Road in Union Township around 2 a.m., NJ.com reports. The blaze was extinguished with help from several surrounding fire crews, and no injuries were reported, according to the Pattenburg Volunteer Fire Company.
