Pedestrian Hurt In North Bergen Hit-Run
A 32-year-old pedestrian was hurt in a hit-and-run crash in North Bergen Thursday, Oct. 13, authorities said. The victim is believed to have been struck by a dark-colored vehicle heading north on Tonnelle Avenue around 10 p.m. at 85th Street, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Found in the roadway, the victim was taken by Emergency Medical Services to Hackensack University Medical Center, where he was being treated for his injuries. Man Struck, Killed By Car While Crossing Street In Hudson County: Prosecutor
A 64-year-old man was struck and killed by a car while crossing the street in Hudson County, authorities said. Angel Ruano, of North Bergen, was hit by a 2005 Honda Civic traveling south on Tonnelle Avenue and 69th Street around 5:55 a.m Tuesday, Sept. 6, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Ruano was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center, where he died about an hour later. The 46-year-old driver from Bronx, NY was not injured and stayed at the scene, authorities said. Deadly Jersey City Stabbing May Have Resulted From Love Triangle, Sources Say
A 21-year-old man was killed and a 22-year-old woman hurt by knife-wielding suspect in what sources say may have been a love triangle, sources with direct knowledge of the incident tell Daily Voice requesting anonymity. Jason Khusial was found around 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 5 at 186 McAdoo Ave., and pronounced dead about 15 minutes later, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Man, 32, Killed In Hudson County's First Homicide Of 2022
Authorities have identified the victim of Hudson County's first homicide of 2022 as a 32-year-old man. Rasheen Bostick was found with a gunshot wound to the torso near Crescent and Belmont avenues in Jersey City around 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. He was transported by Emergency Medical Services to Jersey City Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at approximately 12:55 p.m. The cause and manner of death are pending the findings of the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.
