Thomas Rudolph Peck died Tuesday, July 11 at Hunterdon Medical Center aged 44. Born in Somerville, Thomas lived in Clinton Township his entire life, his obituary says. New Safety App Allows Hunterdon County Students To Anonymously Report Bullying, Drugs, Threats Hunterdon County students can now make anonymous reports about bullying, drug sales and other threats through the use of the district's newly launched “Safe Schools” app. The Hunterdon County Safe Schools App is monitored 24 hours a day to give students a safe, secure path to report common school issues to district and/or law enforcement officials, Acting Prosecutor Michael J. Williams was born Dec. 12, 1983 in Somerville and graduated from North Hunterdon Regional High School in Annandale, his obituary says. NJ Native, 39, Dies Hiking National Forest In Arizona A New Jersey native died while hiking in a national forest. Michael Benedetto La Marca, 39, was hiking at Peralta Trailhead in Arizona's Tonto National Forest when he died Oct. 3, according to his obituary. More than 14,000 acres of the forest he died in was consumed by wildfire on the day of his death, according to  the U.S. Forest Service.
