Sussex County native Claire Marie Fendt died Tuesday, Oct. 10 at the age of 34, prompting an outpour of condolences and support. Born in Newton, Claire was raised in Sparta, her obituary says. The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission is adding an “X” gender option to drivers licenses and non-driver identification cards.
