The U.S. beat Japan 2-1 in the semifinals of the International Hockey Federation (FIH) Olympic Qualifiers in Ranchi, India, on Thursday, Jan. 18. Davis-Nickens attended Easton Area High School and studied early childhood education at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, her social media pages say. Davis-Nickens then worked as a chef at several establishments, including Lafayette College, Perkins and Mikeโ€™s Old School Sandwich Shoppe in Easton, as well as PFT in Phillipsburg. Knife-Wielding Man Invades Home On Lafayette College Property A man wielding a knife invaded a home on Lafayette College property in Easton early Monday morning, reports say. The intruder was wearing shorts and a t-shirt when he fled a home on the 400 block of McCartney Street shortly before 4 a.m., LehighValleyLive reports citing college President Alison Byerly. The collegeโ€™s alarm system made the loudspeaker announcement around 4:30 a.m. after the initial investigation, which was assisted by Easton Police, the report says. Jennings, 58, died after a long battle with cancer on August 4, her obituary says. A resident of Chatham, Jennings graduated from Scotch Plains Fanwood High School in 1980 and earned an engineering degree from Lafayette College in 1984, where she was one of the few female engineering majors in her class.
