Bodycam Shows State Trooper Was Justified Shooting Man Who Charged At Police With Hunting Knife Thanks to a body camera, a New Jersey State Police trooper was found completely justified in shooting a man who charged at him and fellow troopers with a hunting knife, authorities announced Friday. The results were among the first under a new directive for police use-of-force investigations in New Jersey issued earlier this month by state Attorney General Gurbir Grewal.
