Morris County Man Gets Eight Years For Sharing 1,000 Child Porn Images: Prosecutor
A 65-year-old Morris County man was sentenced to eight years in prison on Friday, May 31, after pleading guilty to distributing child pornography, authorities said.
John Green, of Washington Township, pleaded guilty in January to possession of child sexual abuse material, Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll, Morris County Chief of Detectives Robert McNally, and Washington Township Police Chief Jeffrey Almer said.
An investigation into Green began when prosecutors in Hunterdon County identified child sexual abuse material on a BitTorrent site in Morris County, authorities said.…
Motorcyclist Killed In Quakertown Crash, Fire Department Says
Kacy Cook, a 23-year-old Whitestation resident, was killed in a crash in Franklin Township on Sunday, May 26, authorities said.
At 11 a.m., Quakertown Fire Company, Hunterdon Medical Center Paramedics and Franklin Township Police were dispatched to Croton Road after Cook's motorcycle went off the roadway and struck a pole, the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office said.

The last of four men caught stealing more than $1.5 million worth of luxury cars in New Jersey, Rockland County, Long Island and Connecticut took a guilty plea on Thursday, federal authorities announced.
Like his pals, Malik Baker, 29, of Vauxhall, NJ, took a deal from the government, pleading guilty in federal court in Newark on Oct. 19 to conspiring to transport stolen vehicles in interstate commerce and receiving a stolen vehicle that had crossed state lines after being stolen.

Eighteen people were arrested and charged as part of a several-month investigation into the distribution of meth, heroin, cocaine, and suboxone in Hunterdon County, authorities announced on Monday, Sept. 19.
The investigation was launched by the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office with assistance from the Clinton Township Police Department Investigative Division after numerous complaints were received regarding narcotic activity along Route 22 in Clinton Township, Prosecutor Renée Robeson said.

A Hunterdon County man was charged after sexually assaulting a 13-year-old, authorities said.
Wayne S. Stangil Jr., of Ringoes, was charged with criminal sexual contact and child endangerment on Friday, July 8, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. Robeson said in a press release on Thursday, July 14.
Stangil, 23, is accused of engaging in criminal sexual contact with the 13-year-old victim, who was allegedly known to him previously, Robeson said.
