Driver Airlifted In Rt. 15 Sussex County Crash A 38-year-old woman was flown to the hospital in a crash on Route 15 in Sussex County, police said. The woman went off the roadway to the right, hitting a guard rail then overturning on the northbound side of the highway near milepost 13.5 Sunday morning, Oct. 8, Sparta police said. The woman was flown to a hospital out of an abundance of caution for possible head injuries, Detective Lt. Tom Snyder said.

Roofer Injured In Saddle River Fall A roofer sustained a head injury in a fall at a Saddle River home Wednesday afternoon, authorities said. The worker initially was unconscious after falling from the roof of the home on East Saddle River Road around 1:30 p.m., Police Chief Jason Cosgriff said. "He was conscious when we arrived and exhibiting signs of a head injury," the chief said. The roofer was taken to the trauma unit at Hackensack University Medical Center by an EMS unit from the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood.

Man Hospitalized In Warren County Dirt Bike Crash, State Police Say A man was hospitalized following a Saturday afternoon dirt bike crash in Warren County, state police confirmed. The 51-year-old man crashed near a home on Knowlton Road in Columbia just after 1:50 p.m., NJSP Trooper Brandi Slota told Daily Voice. The man, of Columbia, remained alert and conscious and was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital for treatment of head injuries, Slota said. No other vehicles or passengers were involved in the crash, which remained under investigation.
