Ex-Con Seized After Breaking Into Teaneck Woman's Apartment, Firing Gun: Chief
A wanted ex-con broke into the home of a Teaneck woman -- violating a restraining order in the process - then defaced the serial number on her legally registered gun and fired a shot that lodged in a wall, authorities said.
Antonio Crespo, 51, of Brooklyn, then called police, met them outside and said he needed to go to a hospital because medication had been stolen from him, Teaneck Police Andrew R. McGurr said.
