Three-Car Crash Interrupts Hampton Borough's Swearing-In Ceremony Talk about terrible timing. A New Year's Day swearing-in ceremony for members and officers at a firehouse in Hampton was interrupted by a three-car crash on Route 31 outside Kappus Plastics, firefighters said.  One person was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation, firefighters said.

Born in Edison, Blake graduated from North Hunterdon High School in 2014 before attending Raritan Valley Community College. He is being remembered as a “free spirit” with a passion for art and music, who loved to make others laugh with his one-of-a-kind sense of humor, his obit reads.
