Highway Robbery: Armed Duo Sought In Overnight Gas Station Holdup Spree In Bergen, Passaic Two bandits robbed multiple gas stations in Bergen and Passaic counties at gunpoint shortly before dawn on Sunday, responders said. The BP on eastbound Route 3 in Clifton was held up at 5 a.m. Jan. 7. One of the robbers had a handgun, the attendant told police. Less than 10 minutes later a similar gunpoint robbery occurred at the Shell station on northbound Route 3 off the corner of Malcolm Avenue. Morris County Gas Station Robbed At Gunpoint (Developing) A Morris County gas station was robbed at gunpoint, developing reports say.  Two men showed a handgun as they robbed the Shell gas station on Route 10 W. in Hanover shortly before 4:15 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, according to initial and unconfirmed reports. The 17-year-old boys from Hudson and Monmouth counties walked into Good Guy Vapes on Main Street in Hackettstown and started to asked about different items just before 6:25 p.m. Friday, local police said. The suspects then failed to show identification when trying to purchase the items, authorities said.
