Glen Gardner Man Struck, Killed On Hunterdon County Highway A 62-year-old man was struck and killed on a New Jersey highway over the weekend, police said. John Gallic, of Glen Gardner, was struck by a Honda passenger car headed north on State Highway 31 near milepost 37.3 in Glen Gardner just after 10 p.m. Saturday, March 16, State Police Trooper Troy McNair said. Gallic was killed and the Honda driver suffered minor injuries. The accident remains under investigation.

State Police: Hunterdon County Woman, 46, Struck, Killed By Car While Crossing Route 31 A Hunterdon County woman was struck by a car and killed while crossing Route 31 in Hampton Borough Friday evening, state police said. Tara Temby, 46, was crossing the southbound lanes of the highway when she was hit by a Saturn driven by a 70-year-old Glen Gardner man near milepost 38.4 shortly before 7:30 p.m., NJSP Sgt. Philip Curry said. Temby, of Flemington, was pronounced dead at the scene, Curry said. No traffic resulted from the two-and-a-half-hour closure of the right lane following the accident, authorities said. The incident remains under investigation, authorities said.
