Parkway Police Shootout Kills Car Thief, Injures Cranford Officer In Woodbridge: AG (Update) A car thief was killed by a police officer in a pursuit on the Garden State Parkway Thursday, Dec. 28, state officials confirmed. The stolen vehicle was being pursued by officers from the Cranford police department when it crashed on the southbound side of the highway in Woodbridge on Dec. 28, the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office said in a news release. An indictment returned by a federal grand jury in Newark accuses Tyrone Crutchfield-Davis, 27, of Linden of plotting the Dec. 15, 2019 holdup on North Avenue at Exit 137 in Cranford with three associates.
