Truck Driver Pulled From Rig In Hunterdon County Crash First responders from multiple squads helped free a truck driver who ran off the road in Readington, authorities said. On Friday, Feb. 17 at 6:40 p.m., the Flemington - Raritan Rescue Squad, Whitehouse Rescue Squad, Three Bridges Volunteer Fire Company and Hunterdon Medical Center MICU EMS-1 were dispatched to Route 202 northbound in the area of the Countryside Funeral Home for a report of a serious motor vehicle crash.  The initial reports indicated a tractor-trailer versus a passenger vehicle, with the truck off of the roadway and possible entrapment in both vehicles. Born in Flemington, Sarah grew up in Whitehouse Station and graduated from Hunterdon Central High School, her obituary says. Sarah then went on to graduate from Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg before attending Philadelphia University, now known as Thomas Jefferson College, according to her memorial. NJ Salutatorian, Aspiring Doctor Dies During Hiking Trip, 18 New Jersey high school salutatorian and aspiring doctor at Cornell University Benjamin Paul Daus died Sunday, Jan. 23 after falling during a waterfall hike in Kauai, Hawaii. He was 18. Described as a “miracle child,” Daus earned the title of Salutatorian for the class of 2021 at Hunterdon Central Regional High School, his obituary says.  Daus was a freshman at Cornell University, where he was studying to become a doctor.
