A starving dog rescued from Philadelphia streets has found a foster home in part thanks to Crown Veterinary Specialists of Lebanon, NJ. Police ID Skeletal Remains In Lehigh Valley As 'Kunkletown Killer'
Police have identified the skeletal remains found by hunters in the Lehigh Valley as belonging to a convicted killer. Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek said the bones were those of William S. Edelman, Jr., a 65-year-old who most recently lived in Catasauqua. The remains were located just before 4:30 p.m. Monday in a secluded portion of the Appalachian Trail in Moore Township, the coroner said. An arrest warrant has been obtained for a 29-year-old woman accused of providing the drugs that killed a 30-year-old man in 2020, various news outlets say citing the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office. Natalia Hellriegel, of Ephrata and Catasauqua, was charged this week with drug delivery resulting in death and related offenses regarding the overdose death of Dominic Anthony, of Lehigh Township, the DA's office reportedly said in a release. A Lehigh County man was shot and killed by Pennsylvania State Police when he ran to his basement to get a revolver during a dispute with his ex-girlfriend, authorities said. Officers arrived at the Catasauqua home on 133 South 14th St., to find Ryan Daniel Shirey, 27, heading to the basement around 1:45 p.m. on Feb. 19, Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Nathan T.
