Woman, 28, Airlifted After Falling Down Flight Of Stairs In Hunterdon County, State Police Say A 28-year-old woman was airlifted after falling down a flight of stairs in Hunterdon County Monday evening, state police confirmed. The woman fell down the stairs at a home on Church Street in Bloomsbury just after 6:45 p.m., NJSP Trooper Lawrence Peele told Daily Voice. The woman was airlifted to St. Luke’s Hospital in Easton and was in and out of consciousness, Peele said. The woman was last listed in stable condition, Peele said.

The tractor-trailers collided near the rest stop just before Exit 7 in Bloomsbury, the Stewartsville Volunteer Fire Company said on Facebook. The tractor-trailers were significantly damaged in the crash, which spread debris throughout the highway, authorities said. The Bloomsbury Hose Co. assisted with cleanup while the Pattenburg Rescue Squad provided patient care. The crash remains under investigation.
