Police: Warren County Woman, 73, Charged With Assault Following Intersection Dispute

A 73-year-old Warren County woman is facing assault charges following a dispute that occurred in the middle of a Washington intersection, authorities said.

Constance Murphy, 73, was involved in a dispute at the intersection of Myrtle Avenue and S. Pickel Avenue in Washington around 6:10 p.m. on April 18, township police said Tuesday.

Murphy, of Washington, was arrested following an investigation and charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct and a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance.

She was also issued summonses for parking in order to block a driveway and improper parking (facing the wrong direction).

Murphy was released and is scheduled to appear in court.
