Sussex County Dad, NJ Transit Worker Scott Williams Dies, 47
Scott Williams, a longtime NJ Transit employee and Sparta resident, died on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at the age of 41, according to an obituary from the Goble Funeral Home website.
Williams, was born in Livingston and graduated from Sparta High School, before going to work at NJ Transit, where he worked for 17 years, according to his obituary

Tara Yannette was a survivor.
She was a two-time liver transplant recipient. She was nine months sober. The 32-year-old Wallington resident had a new boyfriend, Richard Black, and the two were in love.

Wallington Woman, 32, Killed By Train In Garfield (Update)
Officials have released the identity of the pedestrian struck and killed by a train in Bergen County this week.
Tara Yannette, 32, of Wallington, was near Plauderville Station in Garfield when she was struck just before 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, NJ Transit spokesman John Chartier said.

One-Way NJ Transit Tickets Will Soon Expire After 30 Days
NJ Transit is rolling out a new policy for its one-way tickets.
Beginning Monday, July 1, all one-way tickets will expire after 30 days, NJ Transit announced. All tickets purchased prior to July 1, will expire on July 31, regardless of their original date of purchase.
There will be no changes to the existing refund policy, NJ Transit said.
The 20-trip FLEXPASS pilot fare will be discontinued on July 1, NJ Transit said. The last date to purchase a FLEXPASS is Sunday, June 30, NJ Transit said.
