Elizabeth Loayza-Rios, 47, was arrested by Detective Craig McEllen after two employers on Duke Drive reported thefts in March and April, Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg said this morning.

McEllen also made the case against 33-year-old Emily Hester after she used credit cards stolen from an 88-year-old Roosevelt Boulevard man whom she cared for as a health aid the past six months, the chief said.

Both women turned themselves in and were released pending hearings on theft charges. Hester also was charged with fraudulent use of credit cards.

Anyone with further information on either of these cases is asked to call Paramus detectives: (201) 262-3400, ext. 553
