Rider Goes Missing After Motorcycle Crashes, Burns On Garden State Parkway UPDATE: Authorities turned to the public for help finding the rider of a crashed, burning motorcycle that was found in the left lane of the southbound Garden State Parkway in Paramus early Monday night. The crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. near mile marker 162.4, New Jersey State Police Sgt. First Class Lawrence Peele said Tuesday. Officers responding to the call found the motorcycle in flames, skid marks on the roadway and no rider. Fearing a possible ejection into the woods, state troopers summoned a Maywood police bloodhound and a Northstar helicopter with thermal imaging cameras. …

Paramus Passersby Rescue Victims After SUVs Collide Head On, Burst Into Flames HEROES: Passersby pulled three victims from their vehicles following a fiery wrong-way head-on crash Friday night in Paramus that critically injured one of the drivers, authorities confirmed. A BMW SUV carrying two men was headed south on the wrong side of Paramus Road near Alpine Drive when it slammed head-on into a Honda SUV occupied by a female driver shortly before 5:30 p.m., Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg said. Paramus Crash Sends Driver To Hospital A driver was hospitalized following a chain-reaction late-morning crash Monday in Paramus. The driver's BMW slammed into a minivan in front of the Brookdale Paramus Senior Living community on Paramus Road between Johnson and White Pine courts. There was no immediate word on the extent of the victim's injuries or whether anyone else was hurt. Paramus police, firefighters and EMS responded.

Car Rolls On Route 4 In Paramus The occupants of a car that overturned Monday afternoon on westbound Route 4 in Paramus got themselves out, responders said. The Volkswagen rolled in front of 35 Plaza shopping center, which includes a Houlihan's, Starbucks and Roadrunner Sports, among other businesses. Paramus police, firefighters and EMS responded.
