Family, Friends Call On Fort Lee Community To Save Cancer Patient, 11 FORT LEE, N.J. — Family and friends are calling on the Fort Lee community to help save an 11-year old girl's life. Briana Lopez, a 6th grader at School No. 3 in Fort Lee, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) on January 14.  She has undergone two rounds of chemotherapy and will need a bone marrow transplant to help beat the cancer. Palisades Park's New Skid Steer Assists With Snow Removal PALISADES PARK, N.J. — The borough of Palisades Park has purchased a skid-steer to assist with snow removal and other public works projects. "The skid-steer will allow us to do snow removal more efficiently and quickly," Deputy Borough Administrator Austin Ashley said. "It is going to be a massive help."
