Hasbrouck Heights Voters To Decide $6.7 Million Bond Referendum HABROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. — Hasbrouck Heights residents will vote on a referendum permitting the Board of Education to issue bonds for the $6.7 million bond on Tuesday. The bond would upgrade the heating and ventilation systems in the district's elementary schools and Junior/Senior High School. If the issue passes, the district will pay $4.4. million towards the upgrades, with an additional $2.3 million coming from the state Department of education through a Regular Operating District grant.
