No injuries were reported in the 5:50 a.m. fire at 556 Anderson Avenue, which apparently began in the back of the single-story Prime Foods store. Firefighters kept the three-alarm blaze from spreading to the Parent hardware shop next door and had it out by 9 a.m. Apartments above the hardware store may have sustained some smoke damage, fire officials said.
