Injuries Reported In Crash In Front Of Route 202 Diner In Pomona ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash on Route 202 in Pomona Tuesday in front of the Mount Ivy Diner, Ramapo Police said. The westbound lanes of the roadway were closed for a short time while around 9 p.m. as the vehicles were cleared, police said.  First reports said one vehicle was on fire, but it was later found that it was only smoking.

Pawling Woman Charged With Driving While Impaired In Red Hook DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. - A Pawling woman was charged with driving while impaired after being stopped Saturday in the Village of Red Hook. Maria D. Peragine, 53, was stopped about 8:20 p.m. on North Broadway by Red Hook Police. During the stop, officers found that she under the influence of drugs and in possession of a controlled substance, as well as marijuana, police said. Schneiderman. Pana Nissan, LLC, also known as Nissan of New Rochelle, agreed to the settlement for deceptively charging hundreds of consumers for the unwanted product that cost up to thousands of dollars per consumer, Schneiderman said.
