Injuries Reported In Crash In Front Of Route 202 Diner In Pomona ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash on Route 202 in Pomona Tuesday in front of the Mount Ivy Diner, Ramapo Police said. The westbound lanes of the roadway were closed for a short time while around 9 p.m. as the vehicles were cleared, police said. First reports said one vehicle was on fire, but it was later found that it was only smoking.

Fleeing Suspects Fire Shots In Armed Robbery At Yonkers Gas Station WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Yonkers Police are on the hunt for two men who robbed a gas station on Monday at gunpoint and then fired a shot as they fled, said Yonkers Police. The two men entered the store around 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of Yonkers Avenue and Alida Street, Sgt. Dean Politopoulos said. Pawling Woman Charged With Driving While Impaired In Red Hook DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. - A Pawling woman was charged with driving while impaired after being stopped Saturday in the Village of Red Hook. Maria D. Peragine, 53, was stopped about 8:20 p.m. on North Broadway by Red Hook Police. During the stop, officers found that she under the influence of drugs and in possession of a controlled substance, as well as marijuana, police said. SUV Slams Into Guardrail On Taconic Parkway First responders from several departments rushed to the scene of a one-vehicle crash Monday on the Taconic State Parkway near Route 134 that sent an SUV into a guardrail. Downed Lines Knock Out Power In Montebello ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Downed power lines have knocked out power across areas of the Village of Montebello, according to Orange & Rockland Utilities.Most residents should have their power back shortly, said Maria Pollard, spokeswoman for the company. About 24 customers who live in the area of Montebello Road will experience power outages for up to two more hours, she added. O&R employees on site are not sure what brought the wires down. Westchester Auto Dealer Fined $298K For Scamming Customers WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Westchester automobile dealer was fined almost $300,000 on Tuesday for scamming customers into purchasing bogus Anti-theft products, according to New York State Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman.
