Details Emerge After Large Fight Breaks Out At Rockland Lake Golf Course A fight between two teenagers at the Rockland Pool on Saturday at Rockland Lake State Park, turned into a larger incident as more people became involved, said New York State Park Police on Wednesday. State Park Police, along with officers from multiple agencies, responded and were quickly able to de-escalate the disturbance, said Randy Simons, NYS Parks public information officer. Man Charged With Weapon Possession After Red Hook Traffic Stop DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- Red Hook police nabbed a man for criminal possession of a weapon Tuesday following a traffic stop. Daniel R. Potts, 29 of Elizaville, was arrested after being stopped on South Broadway. During the stop, officers found Potts, a convicted felon, was in possession of two shotguns, Red Hook Police said. He is being held at the Dutchess County Jail on $10,000 cash bail.

Nyack Man Charged With Assault In Domestic Violence Incident ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Nyack man was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend during a domestic incident on Saturday in Stony Point, police said. Anthony Gulifield, 51, was charged with assault and harassment after Stony Point police responded to a domestic violence call around 2:20 a.m. on Thiells Road, said Lt. Daniel Hylas. When officers arrived they found the 47-year-old woman, who has a relationship with Gulifield, had been assaulted by him, Hylas said. Suffern Man Stopped For Swerving On Route 59 Charged With DWI RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Ramapo police continued their crackdown on DWI when they stopped a Suffern man on Saturday for swerving on Route 59, according to Ramapo police. The 56-year-old unidentified man was charged with DWI after being stopped on Route 59 in the Village of Airmont for swerving, police said. Once the vehicle was stopped, quickly determined that the driver was intoxicated, police said. He was arrested and ordered to appear in the Village of Airmont court next month.
