Five Arrested As Fishkill House Party Turns Into Violent Melee DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- Five people were arrested following a large house party in Hopewell Junction that turned violent with several people injured, according to East Fishkill Police. East Fishkill police were called to the Wilmont Court home around midnight on Friday, Aug. 18 after a person was thrown through a window during a large fight at the party,  police said. The work, scheduled to begin, Thursday, Aug. 31, will affect traffic on Sycamore from Broadway to Parkside Way, including Dogwood Lane, Con Ed officials said. According to Frank Tasciotti, assistant coordinator of the task force, a search warrant was executed at the home of Frank Moss, 62, of 38 Glenwood Ave., after receiving complaints of drug trafficking in the area. Beacon Man Draws Decades-Long Sentence For Rape DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- A City of Beacon man will spend the next 23 years in state prison after being sentenced Monday in Dutchess County Court for a raping a woman in 2016, according to the Dutchess County District Attorney's Office. Ruben Felix, who committed the rape on Aug. 31, 2016, was also sentenced to 20 years of post-release supervision, said Allison Stuart, senior assistant district attorney for Dutchess County. Stuart said Felix was found guilty of "engaging in intercourse while the victim was incapable to act or communicate unwillingness."

ID Released For Rockland Woman Killed In Crash ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. --  A Pomona woman who was killed in an early morning crash on Sunday on Route 45 has been identified, according to the Ramapo Police Department.
