Shock and sadness spread following the death of 37-year-old Michael Burns, a well-respected youth sports coach and father of two.
According to his obituary, Mike died unexpectedly on a bicycle ride Sunday, March 3.
A member of the Ironworkers Union, Local 11 Mike "loved the challenges of his job, especially the thrill of working on structures from very great heights," his obituary reads. He was outspoken and "always tried to push his own personal limits."

Star North Jersey High School Wrestler Shot Dead At 28
A former high school wrestler was shot and killed on a North Jersey street Thursday, Sept. 22, officials said.
Katon Washington, 28, who grappled for Montclair High School in 2012, was found with gunshot wounds on Aldine and Cleveland streets in Orange around 1 a.m., Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens II said.

Passaic Native Erik Tlatelpa Fought For Family: Support Surges After Dad Loses Cancer Battle
Support is surging for the family of a Passaic native and Connecticut dad who died of cancer.
Erik Tlatelpa, 41, of Trumbull, CT, died on Friday, June 3, of pancreatic cancer, according to a GoFundMe set up to create a college fund for his two sons. The page had raised more than $8,200 of its $20,000 goal as of Tuesday, June 7.
"While this horrible disease ultimately claimed his life, Erik fought hard for more then[sic] 2 years to spend as much time as possible with those he loved," the fundraiser's description reads.

Former Wrestler Dies In Crash
Support is rising for a former wrestler killed in a car crash Tuesday.
Nicholas Santiago, 20, of Bethlehem, PA, was riding in a car down South 15th Street when it veered off the road and struck a tree, according to the Allentown Police Department and the Lehigh County Coroner's Office.
He died of blunt force injuries to the torso, and the manner of death was ruled an accident, the coroner's office said.
Santiago's family has set up a GoFundMe page in his name to help with funeral and other expenses, and as of Friday afternoon, it had raised more than $8,300.
